What to Wear

Here’s what I recommend. Maternity: Definitely wear maxi dresses and skirts, lace, pretty bras, accessories like long necklaces, and I also love anything in a chiffon material. Light, cream, and neutral colors look best!!! Please try to steer clear from jeans, pants, and anything you are not comfortable in…because it will show! Family: Light and neutral colors that compliment. Not too matchy match. For the mothers and daughters anything that is flow-y looks dreamy in photos! Dads and sons look best clean cut and tucked in! Newborn: The newborn sessions happen at your home, so please have any creamy blankets or throws available. Self-portraits or graduations: Various styles that represent you! For grads, cap and gowns are a plus.

Other Information

The best time to have a photography session is in the afternoon close to sunset. During the summer and fall, sessions can start around 5 p.m. In the winter and spring sessions usually around 3 p.m.

I am a natural light photographer, so the best time of the day is when the sun isn’t harsh and literally in your eyes.

I love open fields and beaches for family and engagement sessions. I have many recommendations in the Orange County areas. If you are in the Los Angeles area then please send me your ideas.

The Session

Photo sessions usually consist of about an hour and a half or more, depending on the type of session.

I am based in Whittier, CA but love traveling up and down the Cali coast.
