Twins separated at birth, just joshing you all! These two cuties were born on the same day so obviously they’ll share a birthday photo session to celebrate turning one! Each of their personalities definitely shine through! Maiya is was a little camera shy, but full of curiosity and sass! Her dainty mannerisms and beauty just shown through every image. She has made them complete. This little darling bundle has turned them into a family and their house into a home.

Ellie, oh sweet Ellie Olivia came into their world as tiny as can be, but also as strong as her mama and all of her auntie team! Little Ellie has made them party like rocks stars, staying up into the wee hours of the night, but as they doze on her precious face they don’t mind at all. Their every existence now is to help you grow smart, kind, and intelligent. By the looks of their instagram feed they are doing just that and a fine job at it too! {You all know I love my insta!}

Congratulations again newbie parents, you are doing an amazing job! Thank you for selecting me to help you capture some of these first moments with your beautiful family. In a little less than a month Maria and Chris with all of their heart and soul say their I do’s. Fate, coincidence, or just pure luck would have Maria and Chris meet while pursuing a career in college counseling. They are two of the kindest people you’ll meet and their hearts are totally dedicated to helping young college students find their path in higher education. So, as they share their passion in Education they also just get one another. Like best friends, they simply enjoy hanging out, eating good food, watching performances, and their favorite- adventure seeking while getting their workout on! I’m so excited to document their love, all of their laughter, and pretty details that they have planned.

Oh Baby Colin, it felt like just yesterday where I met your loving family and had the honor to photograph you as a newborn. Did you know that your mom has the most amazing eye for style? Yes, your room is absolutely perfect. You can tell she put a lot of thought and heart into finding just the right decor to make you feel at home. And then the outfit she had there had mine, oh I mean your name written all over it. I just love overall rompers! Now, your daddy he’s a whole other ball game! He wanted your room covered from the windows to the walls in Raider Nation gear! I’m not kidding! But your clever and sweet mom kindly suggested he saved all that fun stuff for you in his man cave. Well played mom, well played. I want you to know that they love you beyond all the stars and Raider jerseys. Ha! I hope I get to see those sweet cheeks in person again soon!

Kina, Joseph & Big Brother James | Maternity | Friendly Hills

Kina and Joseph along with big brother James were more than ready to welcome baby Jace into their family and hearts. As you’ll see this gorgeous mama has style for her family down to a science! Not only was she able to change into three outfits speedy quick, she did it like as if she was in her first trimester, which means she is so ready to take on two bouncy boys. You go mama! James did such a wonderful job smiling and following all of our directions that I’m also pretty sure he’s going to make for a fantastic big brother. And well dad, Joseph, was there as such a supportive and caring hubby this mama is all set with her beautiful crew in blue! Congratulations again on baby Jace; he’s a handsome one!

You know that tingly feeling you get inside when you know it was just mean to be? That moment when you’re like I like that too, that’s what I like to do for fun too…a hundred and one “toos” make you feel like you were just made to connect. That’s exactly how I felt when I met Yared! Ha, you thought I was talking about their love hugh? Okay, okay I was talking about them at first and then me. Yared, could you believe was my very first “Instagram” client? I met her and was like we need to be friends! She’s adorable, sweet, ultra creative, has incredible style, and the list can go on. Then I met Jimmy and I thought, yeah they are perfect for each other. He loves her beyond measure, makes her laugh, and has a fun little style of his own. Together they love coffee, traveling, hip and urban foodie places, and they love DTLA.

I’ve been photographing their Christmas photos for the last few years now, so I was ecstatic when they got engaged and even more so when they asked me to shoot their enagement session. Then we went to the 6th Street Bridge before it closed and I was dead. You know in that good Instagram hip lingo kinda dead. They made magic of course and well you can see the rest for yourself!

Congratulations Yared and Jimmy you know I have heart eyes for your guys!

Stephanie and Randi recently married on a lovely Fall day in September at the very hip wedding venue, Five Crowns in Corona Del Mar. Their love gushed like that 90’s snack, “Gushers” all gooey , sugary, a tad silly and a whole lot of sweetness! Oh what a lovely wedding, with even lovelier crafted details. Stephanie has a real eye for unique items which represented both hers and Randi’s interests and well Randi, like a good man, went along with every personalized detail. Their ceremony was held under the most gorgeous hand-made garland. Everything was flawless! And they ended it dancing the night away to a Beatles cover band. Perfection!!!

Samantha & Ernesto | Engagement | Downtown Los Angeles Art’s District

I’m baaaack! And what a better to make my blogging return then to post an artistic urban engagement session that took place in the Downtown LA Art’s district a couple of months ago?!!! Can these two get any cuter? (imagine me saying it in Chandler Bing’s voice) Don’t ya love Friends?! Okay, back to engagement season!!! Samantha and Ernesto just put their fashion and location stamp on my blog for the firsts of many engagements sessions to come. But best of all they showed their love so effortlessly. Now, let me quote on of my favorite wedding movies of all time, My Best Friend’s Wedding, “Love the bag, love the shoes, love everything!” Yass, I want all of Samantha’s wardrobe! Just saying!

I’m really humbled how I always seem to get the sweetest couples, families, and clients in general. You can even see their candied love for each other just ooze through their images! I can’t wait for their wedding in March, where they’ll be saying their I do’s and then according to Ernesto dancing to some good old Mexican stomping music (if ya’ll know what I’m talking about, then ya’ll all know what I’m talking about! he he).
