Mr. & Mrs. Aguilar | Married | Harlyne J. Norris Pavilion

How can I not go gah gah over the Aguilar wedding?! It all started at the Crown Plaza. Everything from her hair to makeup was perfection! And then the beading down the back of her dress was to die for! I’m a pretty-detail kinda gal so her gown just won me over! Their ceremony was a combination of a beautiful traditional Catholic Mexican and Filipino wedding held at Our Lady of Guadalupe church in Hermosa Beach. Everyone then headed to the sweet lil gem in Palos Verdes, The Harlyne J. Norris Pavilion for Performing Arts. Ernesto and Samantha’s love that day was like those emoji heart eye faces, they were plastered all over their faces as well as their guests too! Just take a look for yourself!

Luke | Newborn | At Home Session

He came into their lives a few days late, but had their heart from the beginning. Luke is one of the squishiest and creamiest little handsome babes evah! Vanessa and Aaron welcomed Luke in July and he was the best 10 pound present they every could have received. Right away he was showered with gifts, like a prince, from all of his aunties (cause he’s got that auntie team -you know I love me some old Kanye). He may have taken his time baking, but when he arrived Vanessa and Aaron were ready with an adorable shabby chic- sprinkled nursery. Just take a peek for yourself! Every time they spoke of their babe smiles and laughter just exuded from their spirits. I don’t buy that whole baby smiles come from gas, nope I know his grin came from all the good vibes his parents were spreading in the room that day. Through out Luke’s first ever photo session he was just a natural baby model…someone put him in an ad!

Andrea & Jeremy | Engaged | Balboa Park San Diego

Andrea and Jeremy are in la la love! Let me just cut to the chase and tell you about how romantic Jeremy’s proposal was to Andrea. He secretly invited her whole family over (she’s originally from Los Angeles County) and his to help create an unforgettable engagement celebration. Their families gathered at their home and waited patiently for Andrea to arrive. When she walked in the walls where covered with photographs of their years together as a couple, lights were dim and the only thing that sparkled was the shiny engagement ring and her smile as Jeremy got down on his knee to proclaim his love in front all of their favorite people. Now how is that for sweetness?!

During their engagement session I feel in love with their love. They were just as bubbly and explosively fresh like a newly popped bottle of rosé that tingles each time it hits your lips. Yup, that’s the kinda love they just poured all over Balboa Park that day. Then I met Cleo, their fur baby, and her feisty ways made me feel all warmsie inside. Oh and did I mention how photographic she is or maybe just maybe I’m the new dog whisper. Ha!

I’m honored to help these two loves become husband and wife next year. Can I get a woo woo for all my 2017 weddings!!!

She’s Three! |Birthday Celebration |Irvine

My dear baby girl,

Happy 3rd Birthday my love! After three years I still can’t believe you are mine! You make me smile with all of your adorable sass, jokes, and oh so interesting way you try to use big words like “serious” and “disappointed.” When I knew I was having a girl I dreamt of pink, frills, and of course Hello Kitty. Although I get super excited when you like the same things that I hoped you would, all of that doesn’t even matter anymore. All I want is for you to stay this small as long as you could. I will tell you the truth, life at times will get hard my love, but I hope I can create as many happy memories for you to look back on when it does get rough. I’m looking forward to more mommy-and-me dates, late night conversations, and sharing what we love best- sweets! Remember I will love you forever and be here always. Never forget you have your Nana’s spirituality, Grandma’s impeccable work-ethic, Nani’s creativity and your Mommy’s drive. With all these great women that came before you, you have the world ahead of you!

She’s a graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles he’s also an LA graduate from Cal State Los Angeles. Being native Angelenos they both bleed blue for the Dodgers, they are adventure seekers and enjoy celebrating every and all occasions. This is how their story goes; he set-up a secret tour of Dodger stadium, they ventured about hand-in-hand and then, surprise he pops the question right there in the dug-out. In return a week later she books them a chic airbnb, they pack their bags and head for the desert. She has their love and this most momentous occasion documented on their secret journey by me!

Allen & Carmen, Nathan, Jared & Niko | Family | Palos Verdes

Family is everything to Allen and Carmen! They are all about their three boys and every smelly pair of sock that comes with that love. Ha! Just kidding, well not really because I speak from experience after a few laps around the playground boys start getting a very unique odor. No offense to all males out there. lol

Their two older boys have the best times being super active in sports. Carmen and Allen also provide perfect learning experiences through the family’s summer travels. Now, that baby Niko can walk he has joined all of their fun under the sun. Allen and Carmen’s lil boy triad seriously does everything together from dressing alike on special occasions especially Halloween and of course they love representing that Dodger blue too. So, Carmen thought it was about that time again for them to all get coordinated and show their handsome smiles in front of my lens. What can I say but they nailed it and each boy plus mom and dad shined bright like a diamond during their family session!

Naya | Newborn | At Home Session

One of my favorite fams had another baby girl and they are just head-over-heels for her! Welcome to my family too, the Eva Marie Photo newborns family that is! I adore watching, photographing, and interacting with all these adorable babes and their families! It’s amazing to watch all these sweetie pies from the beginning to toddlerhood and on. So, thank you dear family for allowing me to help capture another one of your beautiful babes!

Naya did you know your big sister was also photographed by me too? Well she was and you are just a sweet, delicate, and precious as you! Your mommy and daddy love their girls without a doubt, so much so that they’d spend a couple of hours of their free time with me so that they could get these memories of you to cherish forever and ever. Naya, soon you’ll recognize your sister’s adorable giggle every time she’s trying tease your daddy by running away from him. Then you will grow a little more and you’ll probably only feel one hundred percent comfortable in your mommy’s warm embrace as she looks down at you with such an overwhelming sense of joy. And then get ready for your daddy to throw you up high in the sky just to make you smile. Don’t worry he’ll always be there to catch you, just like he does with your sister. Oh and let’s talk about how your sister is looking forward to being your very best friend, to tell secrets to and to play with under the sun in your big backyard. Welcome to the world Naya!

Rosemarie | Maternity | Union Station

Okay for like a split second I was like, “no that can’t be her she’s not pregnant” as I was looking for Rosemarie at Union station. I saw her from behind and then she faced her cute little belly towards me and I hollered, “hi oh that is you!” This is Rosemarie and David’s first little baby bundle so it totally made sense that she was all belly. Because believe me when you are on your third pregnancy like my last pregnancy I was all belly, bootay, thighs and then some. I think it’s just because your body is like, “okay I know what’s up a baby is coming and I’m going to get all ready with some extra cushion to keep this little one protected!” Ha, so that’s what I tell myself because I gained way too much that last time. As for Rosemarie she was wearing the sexiest little blue number to perfection. Both Rosemarie and David chose Union station, which I loved, because they live in the coolest loft in Downtown LA so this location was just around the corner from them. The two of them were so excited to bring baby Olivia Madison into their hearts and home and it shows in every loving embrace throughout their session. By the way Olivia Madison joined their lives and hearts this May and I can’t wait to show you her pretty face!
