Ashley. Boudoir. Los Angeles Boudoir Photographer.

Boudoir is beautiful. There is something about bare skin that makes every image look flawless, clean, and natural. Let me just say that Ashley is a hottie on her own. She couldn’t have made it any easier for me to make her look like she came straight out of a Maxim magazine (the classy photos of course) baring nothing but skin. Ashley drew the camera in and created these gorgeous images with her deep gazes into my lens. When you can do that, ladies you are on fire! Here I posted only a couple of her outfit changes, but this seductress brought a whole trunk load of goodies for us to play with…however, those images are for her boyfriend’s eyes only. Ashley, I think you look simply gorgeous da’lin’ and I know your beau is going to love them too! This set right here is my favorite. Simplicity is sensual. Ashley, those eyes!
Pretty in pink.

Jaime & Jorge. Engaged. Los Angeles Engagement Photographer.

I love California travelin’ kinda people, especially those as sweet and adventurous as this couple. In their spare time, Jaime and Jorge follow their traveling hearts up and down the Cali coast. They also like to just enjoy one another’s company by hanging out around different parts of town. Since we all like to do a little exploring, we decided to venture off to Shoreline Village in Long Beach for their engagement session.

Before Jaime and Jorge (by the way how cute are they with both initials starting with “J”) got engaged, they were friends first for a good two years until Jorge finally got up the nerve to ask this pretty woman to be his leading lady. Soon thereafter, they were inseparable. After a few years passed these smarties decided to invest in a house. With all the remodeling they were taking care of it took them a little while to get settled and start planning for their big day. Now the time is ticking for them to unite as one. I can’t wait to see all the prettiness at your wedding in June!

Noah. Smash the Cake. Los Angeles Lifestyle Photographer.

Happy 1st Birthday to Noah!  After successfully recovering from Cranio surgery, this little mighty muscle man is celebrating his firs birthday as a rootin’ tootin’ cowboy. Of course his mommy, daddy, and his aunties helped come up with the adorable details for his Smash the Cake photo session. What can I say, I’m completely subdued by Noah’s charm. Really… he plays hard to get. My lens will look deep into his big brown eyes and he’ll give me that “Noah” look as I like to call it. It’s almost like a stare down, eyes to camera. We stare and stare until he finally breaks and I get the most charming little smile. Ya, he’s going to be a heartbreaker for sure. I think Noah gives me his look because I have seen him grow from the time he was inside his mommy’s belly, to when he was a whittle newbie, until right before his Cranio surgery, and now as a handsome one year old. Noah you sure are a birthday champion!
These two are my favorite. Check him out showing off his vintage cowboy hat. Yeehaw! I think he’s saying “where did the hat go mama?” Ha!

My baby bump. Gender Reveal. Palm Springs.

God has blessed us with many gifts. One of these gifts is our healthy son. We are extremely fortunate to be able to have another child. We know each phase in our lives and this pregnancy is a miracle. So here we are, in Palm Springs, for my husband’s conference and a little mini vacation. I’m a very need to know girl. I need to know facts, details and of course the sex of our baby. The days leading up to finding out the results I was still contemplating whether or not to “know”, or just to have Eddie find out and surprise me with my photo session idea. I couldn’t do it. Yes, I’m a big wimp. Most of you probably aren’t even reading my blabbering and went straight to the pictures but I thought well I gotta have a little intro. So, is it a boy or girl? Here are the results friends and family. I know I’ve kept you waiting for a few days, but believe me it’s been hard to keep my mouth shut too! Eddie and I are ecstatic and  still a little in shock to let you know it’s a….

GIRL!!!!

See my face. I’m still nervous. I thought I would be an expert at raising a girl because of all my sisters, but I think this is going to be a whole new ball game.A litte closer with photos in front of a fuchsia wall.I think he would have been happy with either pink or blue confetti!
He’s going to have a little sister.

Diandra, Robert & Baby Damien. Family. Orange County Family Photographer.

We usually think of going “green” as the good ole motto “reduce, reuse, recycle.” Well, this cute family of three takes going green to a whole other (baby) level. So what place could be better to take their family photos than in a natural trail like this one in Orange County? Diandra, Robert and even baby Damien love to save Mother Earth. They uses cloth diapers, Damien plays with wooden toys (along with a few stuffed animals here and there), and Diandra nurses her sweet little baby boy. They also try to eat organic foods from either their family’s self-sustained garden or their local farmer’s market.

Unfortunately, Diandra had some complications in the beginning of her pregnancy that prevented her from taking maternity photos. However, she really wanted to get some intimate pictures of her and Damien since she never had the opportunity. She came to me with the idea of taking photos of her nursing, and I thought what a beautiful moment to show the bond that a mother and child share. So, we literally set up tent and I started snapping away.

Diandra, Robert, and Damien, thank you for making this session so easy going and fun loving.
These two are my favorite. I love the way he is looking at me like, “you are staring at me with that thing in my face, I’m gonna stare right back at you.” Except his stare is much cuter!I love his crying face!

Announcing Baby. Weeks 12 and 16. Baby Bumps.

I am tired, scratch that. I’m exhausted. I feel super bloated. I still have morning sickness. I haven’t gotten my nails “did” in way too long. I am hormonal and hungry every ten minutes. BUT, we are blessed to announce that I am pregnant with baby numero two. My husband and I have been praying for our little bun in the oven for a while and so no matter how rough it gets I am grateful because our family is growing. It’s really interesting how much more precious life becomes as you age. Honestly, when I was younger I really didn’t think I was going to want to have any children due to the fact that I had so many younger siblings and I never really took interest in playing the motherly role. It wasn’t until I hit my late twenties where I started to get the fever. Baby fever that is. After being married a couple of years we both decided that children would help complete our happy family of four (us plus two doggies). We were ecstatic when we finally got pregnant with our son and now, a playmate for him…what could be better? Children, especially your own children make everything, the simplest things, like going to the beach or a museum brand new again. Every holiday, every birthday celebration is that much sweeter when there is a little tike by your side watching and learning. I guess no matter how long this morning sickness lasts I take the feeling with gratitude. I am grateful and honored to carry another child.

However, nurturing and entertaining a two-year old while four months pregnant has taken a toll on my energy level and body so I wasn’t about to take monthly photos of my pregnancy journey again. That was until my sister, my mother’s second child, said, “Hey you have to do everything you did for your first child for the second too!” So, baby G, in honor of your second auntie, I am going to be a very equal parent. These photos were taken by my extremely caring and patient husband. Thank you schmookie for always running to the store for ice cream (the vanilla and strawberry swirl in a cup), always taking our little stinker to the potty, and carrying all of my props to my photo sessions. I think someone is going to deserve a very nice father’s day gift. Here I am at three months and now four. My bump may still look really small, but the way I look here at four months is how I looked at six with my first. Eeek, how big will I get? Stayed tuned.

Oh and don’t worry I am planning on working the camera way into my third trimester!:)
