Love, without a doubt was like the saying goes, “sprinkled like confetti” all of this gorgeous day. It was shown with warm smiles, shared with long hugs, and remembered with the most thoughtful details dedicated to those that have long past. Throughout the day Maria and Chris spent the minutes and hours, before becoming man and wife, completely in tune as if they were somehow cosmically in-sync. The moments right before they took their First Look inside the insanely gorgeous modern greenhouse at Heritage Park their bodies gravitated toward each other like they knew they had waited for this moment all their lives. Soon after the heart-felt ceremony had relatives in tears and friends in laughter. And then at the reception I was blown away with all of the uber cute Mexican-inspired details. Everything from the all-female Mariachi to the hand-painted and traditional red clay plates were ah-maze-ingly beautiful. Then the food!!! If you’re a foodie like myself then you would have wanted to be a guest just to get a bite of the hand dipped tortas. Just sayin’! Then weaved throughout the entire day were little bits and pieces of special details that were dedicated to the memory of Maria’s father. Although her father wasn’t there physically his presence was felt by all. No one will ever replace him, but from what I could see her brother is that strong rock that was placed by her side to help keep her father’s memory alive. Now Chris is the man she has chosen to spend the rest of her life with to build new memories that will refill her heart and soul.
Maria and Chris may your life together be filled with as much love as the amount of confetti it takes to cover the Super Bowl skies in February.
